Pizza

Pizza dough:


2 1/2 - 3 c flour
2 tbsp white sugar
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
1/2 tsp salt
1 c warm water
2 tbsp oil

Preparation:

Combine 1 cup flour, sugar, yeast, and salt, blending well. Add oil and water gradually, until well moistened, and then stir until a smooth batter is created. Add additional flour by hand until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

Turn out onto a floured surface and knead in more flour until a smooth, elastic dough is created. Divide into two balls. Roll out between two sheets of parchment paper.  Top as you wish and bake at 475* on preheated pizza stone and parchment paper for 10 min.

Place pizza stone in oven at preheat to 475*. Slide pizza onto stone* and bake to 10 min.

*We prepare the pizza on parchment paper then use two cookie sheets to slide the pizza onto the stone.
