1/2 cup oil (olive oil is what we use)
1/4 cup water
1-3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
Mix together oil and water. Combine flour and salt separately. Mix oil/water suspension with flour/salt blend with a fork. Form into 2 balls. Roll out between 2 sheets of wax paper. place one crust in a pan. add fruit filling. Place top crust, seal edges. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour on a cookie sheet.
tip--put strips of foil around the crust edges and remove the last 10 min of baking.
This crust is used in the famous Criddle Cherry pie.
